The Temple Beth-El Men's Club meets on a regular basis and offers programs and events of interest for everyone. Here are some of the great things we've got coming up:
- Sunday, April 19th 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm - Join us for a FREE dinner and Spring practice session, as we tee-it-up to launch our 26th Annual TBE Men's Club Golf Outing. This event is hosted by our Back 9 Hole Sponsor, The Golf Practice, located at 1546 Old Deerfield Road, Highland Park, IL. Bring your clubs. We'll have guys rotating through their state-of-the-art practice facility with 8 hitting bays (featuring Trackman style data), a great practice green and even a short game area with indoor bunkers. Free dinner and soft drinks will be served. BYOB for booze. Open to Men's Club members and our guests. Limited to the first 50 to RSVP. Click this link to RSVP.
- Friday, May 1st - Sunday, May 3rd - Artist in Residence Weekend, co-sponsored by The Men's Club & WTBE. Join us for a special weekend of great family and adults activies with Rick Recht, one of the most influential voices in contemporary Jewish music and leadership. A nationally recognized artist, educator, and innovator, he is the founder of Jewish Rock Radio and Songleader Boot Camp, and serves as national celebrity spokesperson for PJ Library. - Saturday, May 9th 5:30 pm - TBE Dine Arounds event. Join us for TBE Dine Arounds, a unique community evening designed to bring Temple Beth-El members together over great food and warm conversation. This special program is jointly sponsored by The Men’s Club and The Women of TBE (WTBE), and offers you the chance to enjoy dinner with fellow congregants you may not yet know. We’ll begin the evening together at TBE with a 5:30 pm Havdalah service at the Temple, then depart promptly at 6:00 pm for 6:30 pm dinner reservations at one of 10 local restaurants — all within a 30-minute drive of the temple. When you RSVP, you’ll select your preferred restaurant from a diverse list of cuisines and price points. Each location will host a table of 8–10 TBE members, with separate checks provided for every individual or couple. Click this link to RSVP.
- Tuesday, May 19th 6:30 - 9:00 pm - Boy's Night Out event at El Tradicional Mexican Restaurant, 1800 Tower Drive, Glenview, IL - Join us for this great Tequila Tasting & Dinner; designed to pair great food with exceptional Tequilas, good company and a bit of spirited discovery, all together in one evening. We'll feature a expert guided tasting of three distinct tequilas, each offering its own character and story. Guests will also enjoy one handcrafted cocktail, along with soft drinks throughout the event. Set up in three courses: The Welcome | Tequila Blanco / Food Course: Veggie Sopecitos (hand made masa veggie Sopecitos—the perfect introduction to awaken the palate); The Main Event | Tequila Reposado / Food Course: Braised Short Rib OR Chicken breast topped with fajita veggies and salsa, OR for vegetarians, Chile El Trad- - open face poblano pepper filled with cheese, corn and chipotle sauce. The Finale | Tequila Añejo - Food Course: Cinnamon Churro Bites, A sophisticated pairing where the caramel and spice of the aged Añejo meet the warmth of traditional Mexican sweets. - Thursday, June 25th 6:30 pm - SAVE THE DATE - DETAILS TO FOLLOW. TBE Family Night at the Chicago Dogs baseball game.
- Monday, July 20th 12:30 pm tee off. SAVE THE DATE - DETAILS TO FOLLOW. Join the Men's Club for our 26th Annual TBE Men's Club Golf Outing at Traditions at Chevy Chevy Chase in Wheeling.
